What I do at TASC
I am the solicitor in the Roma Community Legal Service, commencing in this role in January 2016. Prior to this I was the Civil Law solicitor for the Toowoomba Community Legal Service.
What I did before coming to TASC
Prior to joining TASC in December 2014 I first practiced in Criminal and Family Law in private practice in Brisbane before commencing in the Humanitarian sector with Salvos Legal Humanitarian, working as a Solicitor Advocate predominantly in the areas of Family, Criminal, Civil and Administrative Law. I have appeared as an Advocate and instructed Counsel in the Queensland Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts, the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, as well as the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and also the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.
What are my academic achievements
I have completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Prior to beginning my law career I completed a Diploma of Justice Administration and a Bachelor of justice at QUT following which I spent a short time as a Police Officer in the Queensland Police Service.
I am currently studying a Master of Laws through QUT and I am a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
