We provide free advice and limited representation
to eligible clients

What does the service provide?

  • Free Legal Advice and Assistance in many areas of Civil Law and Family Law with the exception of Property Settlements.
  • Service includes initial advice, referral to private solicitors or other avenues of legal assistance, and help with the preparation of Court documents and the provision of self-help material to assist people who need to represent themselves in Court.
  • Advice and limited advocacy and legal representation to clients with a disability facing the Criminal Justice System.

What to bring to your appointment
Please bring all of your paperwork, forms or other related information, eg, how to complete the forms with you to the appointment.

 

You are also welcome to bring a support person with you to the appointment.

TOOWOMBA COMMUNITY LEGAL SERVICE – FORMS CLINIC | The Program/Service

From May 2014, the Toowoomba Community Legal Service commenced operation of a Forms Clinic in response to a need to assist people to complete forms including those related to:

  • Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) Applications
  • Superannuation
  • Right to Information
  • Work Cover forms
  • Criminal History Screening Check
  • Yellow and Blue Card applications
  • Centrelink
  • Electricity rebate
  • Disability Support Pension Applications.

From April 2015, the Ipswich Community Legal Service commenced operation of a Forms Clinic in response to a need to assist people to complete forms including those related to:
